22/23 weeks

John came into town for the unlv / unr football game. Ryan and I decided we weren't going to go because we don't wouldn't be able to last sitting in the bleachers for that long. John hadn't seen our apartment yet so he decided he would come over and see it. While he was here he decided to see who's stomach was bigger... I do believe he is beating me. His face is priceless.

Madison was going crazy last night. Ryan put his hand on my stomach to see if he could feel her moving around. He didn't feel anything for a minute and thought I was going crazy until she did a nice big thump for him. It freaked him out a little bit but it was just her letting him know shes in there.

22 weeks

I went in to get another ultrasound today because she wouldn't sit still long enough for the last one. I made sure I ate nothing with sugar in it to help her be a little bit calm. during the ultrasound i found out something that makes me very happy! I found out that I'm not going to die!! Yippie! I found out that my placenta migrated to the top of my uterus so I'm not in risk of having a privia any more. She wouldn't show her heart last time and this time she wouldn't show her hands. she kept them under her her chin the entire time. when we tried to get her to move them she just starting to play with them it was kind of funny to watch. we got a really good look at her heart and the doctor said that she looks perfect. I go back in ten weeks December 7th (i know December!) just to make sure that shes growing the way that shes supposed to. for the time being she's head down but i seriously doubt that she'll stay that way for longer than ten minutes. she was trying to turn sideways on me yesterday which didn't feel that great. Right now she weighs 1 pound 2 ounces...

We had a big day! Ryan graduated from college! I was so proud of him! He worked so hard and all his work paid off! He's taking one quarter off then he's going to go back to get his next degree. Its so nice to have him work so hard for our little family.

Last week we went into the hospital to get Ryans Gallbladder removed. I know he's been a busy boy! He's doing great now! Its so nice to know that he isn't going to get sick in the middle of the night anymore. It also makes me very happy that we live when we do because all they had to do was put four little cuts in him to get it out. If he would have had it done years ago he might not have made it... or he would have just had to deal with it. Yippie for living in 2010!

20 weeks

We had our 18 weeks ultrasound (yes I know I'm two weeks slow putting this up) we found out that we are going to be having a hyperactive little girl. The ultrasound tec was laughing because she said that she was the "most hyper" baby that she had ever seen. Yes that fact does scare me. She wouldn't sit still long enough to get a good look at her heart so I have to go back in two weeks and hopefully she will sit still long enough to get a good look at it. She is very hyper. She has taken to letting me know when SHE is hungry. I'm not always hungry when she lets me know she is hungry. She starts doing flips to let me know she wants me to eat. Now saying she's flipping is an understatement she just starts flipping and flipping for as long as it takes for me to eat something. It feels SO WEIRD! But I love it!!! Hyper hyper girl... I hope she gets it out of her system while shes in there... I love the shoes Ryan's mom got us... they are sooooo cute! They even have left and right on the sides of them.

17 weeks

So this week has been fun... the next couple of weeks are going to be interesting. This week its my ultrasound, then next weeks going to be Ryan's graduation and then the weeks after that he gets his gallbladder removed... lots and lots of fun.

I've been feeling the baby move every once and a while not a constant thing. It went crazy the other day when I ate chicken wings. I came to the conclusion chicken wings makes it hyper... It still enjoys going into places that really aren't comfortable and then stays there for hours at a time... it tends to happen while I'm at work which makes work oh so much more fun.

I've been thinking about baby showers a lot now that I went to one... I was also had the thought that I'm going to buy a Halloween costume around October for the wee little size and then once the baby comes to take a picture of it... I'm sorry but a little dragon picture would be sooo cute!!!

16 weeks

I found out at my last doctors appointment that because my husband has md in the family I get to get my big ultrasound at 18 weeks to find out what we are having instead of 20 weeks like everyone else. I get my ultrasound on September 2nd which is a Thursday morning. I'm looking forward to it, but then again who wouldn't?

I've been doing pretty good lately. I can certainly feel my uterus... there are times that I swear I feel a heel running down the lower part of me. Its weird... but then again I might be crazy but the book says I can feel movement this early so I could also be right.

I ate bad soup Saturday night while I was working. Don't eat fresh and easy fresh clam chowder, ever since I've had some pretty annoying stomach issues. My stomach bloated pretty bad and puffed out, then there was the other fun stuff... So With my stomach protruding the most I've ever seen it I took my 16 week picture. My pants still mostly fit but I don't like the feeling of tight pants anymore, but strangely my work pants still fit fine... I think its because they sit so low on the hips so my stomach doesn't really get in the way. I don't know if my bloat will stay for good or if it will go away for a while...

Other than that my pregnancy is going great. I'm full of energy, I'm not sick, and half the time if I'm not bending or trying to stand up from sitting I forget that I'm pregnant which is kind of weird lol... it took me three years and its a really nice time, it just seems to be going too fast!!!

Bella

Well yesterday was a sad day. My mom got home from work yesterday and found Bella floating in the pool. She tried to save him and try to revive him but he was in there for a while. I feel so bad for my mom. She just jumped in fully dressed and tried to help him. I haven't heard my mom so upset in a very long time. He's tried to do this before but Keith found him before... you think he would have learned from the last time but I guess not. I think he was my shortest pet besides like fish... I only had him for a year and a half. Now Bella is in the backyard right next to Kaytee...

12 weeks

(yes very bad very unflattering picture when I was right off of work) Well I went into my 12 week check up yesterday. My blood pressure is down (it was a smidge high at 8 weeks) I found out my blood work is still perfect and I'm ab positive (I'm actually excited about this fact... I can get blood from everyone! It wont be an issue) I haven't gained weight from my last check up, and the five pounds I have gained is because I rediscovered how much I love ice cream. I have been craving things but I've discovered that if I have them then I wont become obsessed with them... like I did with raviolis for about six months. I'm excited that I'm out of the dreaded first trimester. I haven't gotten sick in about two weeks which makes me extremely happy. I'm not so tired anymore, still tired but I'm not going into comas for hours at a time and having my lovely husband sneaking pictures of me sleeping... in which case I feel asleep like this almost every day... glasses and all.

I do believe my next ultrasound is going to be my 20 week anatomical ultrasound. At that point we will be finding out what we are having. I always want to have another ultrasound. Its always neat to see whats going on.

This pregnancy is going all too fast for me... its crazy I'm already one third of the way done! The next six months better go slower or else I might go crazy....
