Forever Family

Yes I know I'm a very slow blogger. Ryan and I had a very sad trip to Utah a few weeks ago. My cousin Jeffery's baby died of sids. As soon as Ryan and I found out we rearranged our schedules and drove to Utah. We stayed with my cousin Jeremy, his wonderful wife Nichole, and fabulous child Owenater!!! I love staying with them. Hotel Hamilton has a fabulous safari room!

The funeral was like something I had ever been to. Baby funerals are extremely sad. I am grateful that I have the church in our lives to know that familys can be together forever.

We had a blast with Owen. Ryan and him seemed like they had a lot of fun together. Yes I snuck a picture of them bumping hands in the back seat of the car.
We stopped by Nichole's Grandmas house to see gobble the turkey and Rambo the sheep. Must admit I've never seen a sheep so close before... They kinda smell but yet are cute at the same time.
Ryan and I felt like we needed to help in some way. So he went with Jer with my Uncle David and helped them move my cousins apartment. So we crawled under my cousins Jer's house and stacked everything up. If it helps it helps.
Ryan and I are very looking forward to the holidays. We are going to Ely for thanksgiving. I'm very much looking forward to taking the whole week off. Ryan and I need to find a way to go to Utah more often. Its nice to be around family.

Sad News

I found out today that my Cousin Jeffery's baby died last night. His name is Riley. He was the cutest little baby. It hit me so hard today. I found out and I just started crying. If you know me thats a big thing. I didn't even cry when I found out that my Grandpas died. Please keep them in your prayers.

yw and some 4th of July

Being in young women's I must admit is very entertaining. I know I'm in this calling for a reason. They are ... energetic. This is Autumn and Taylor slip and sliding... They are crazy!

I Believe Ryan's favorite holiday is the 4th of July. He gets all giddy and excited. We always go down to the valley of fire and grab us some illegal fireworks... not that bad just some bottle rockets. We also get normal fireworks like fountains a little tanks so that we can have tank fights.Bella seemed to enjoy them too

We set up some yard chairs by the side of the road. Jen and my mom came with and we watched the show. We are lucky the neighbors forked out a couple hundred dollars more on fireworks than we did. They had some big mortars going off. It was fun

Girls camp is the last week of July. I am going to completely be a princess. I am going to have my own tent. I'm really not a camping princess but I need my privacy and as a leader I have the ability to do such a thing. I have a feeling though that if there is a fight among the girls in camp I'm going to have a little someone extra in my tent with me. I hope not though

Long time no update...

So I'm slow, I know, but I have to admit my life has been rather boring. But I have a few things to update on.
One thing is I got released from teaching the 12 and 13 year olds with Ryan. He now is left alone to the wolves. Well I can't really say that I will probably still go into the class with him to help with the squirrels known as the class. I got a new calling though. I got called as the Young Women's secretary... yes, I have a big girl calling. Its rather strange to think that only four years ago I was in young womens and now I'm a leader. They gave me this rather big binder and it kind of scares me. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do yet but I'm sure I will get the hang of it. But I have to admit I'm OH SO EXCITED for girls camp!!! My only worry about girls camp is my knees... but I'm sure they will give me rides in the golf cart when I need them.

Ryan has taken over the lawn care for the front yard. He has taken over mowing, edging, and he's doing a great job! I have been helping (a very little help but still a help) we picked out four new rose bushes and my mom brought home one. We ended up only keeping three of the "old" rose bushes, and completely digging out two of the old ones. I completely pruned the red one down to almost nothing, and we all know the pink one is a beast and you just let it be. My mom also got two new strawberry plants, and three new tomato plants. We are perplexed at the moment. We think the dog next door attacked a passing pillow because there are feathers all over the place, even the the garage. Ryan thinks it was a dead/live pigeon but if it was a pigeon it would have had to have been two because there is A LOT of feathers.

Keith is going out of town for about a month, so we get a new rabbit in the back yard. Boo has come to stay with us. His nails were way too long so I gave him a mani and a pedi. He will stay on his back and Bella wont... but he's wilder if that makes an sense. Depending on what sex they are I will fix them but I think they are both boys.

The other animals are doing good. Molly is still fat and grey. I think she has allergies and wont live that much longer. Patches (who will be 18 the 16th of may) is still cute and perky. I thought I would catch this for you all. He likes getting water out of my moms sink. He will lead you to it so you will fill it up for him. Its ok he's cute and we love him.

2 years

Well let me start off by saying Happy Valentines day everyone! I'm slow we know this fact and we will probably get over it. Well on my Valentines day I came home from my hair appointment to find this.

I had gotten roses on my car, my room attacked with balloons. It was so great! Ryan my lovely man also got me a necklace which was beautiful!!! I love him for his cute planning and scheming! Bella even liked playing with the balloons too!Well second off let me say Happy two year anniversary to us! Two years? Hasn't time flown by so fast? Well we had this planned for a while now and it was a blast! Its good to know that I can still be a kid with my husband! To start off our day we went to the Adventure dome! I was very disappointed the water ride was closed... but it was still fun!I deem bumper cars is always a favorite of people. You can school little kids and ram them into the wall... hehehe
The next place we wondered off to was the shark reef. They had some of the coolest animals there! This is a very sleepy alligator... We noticed a lot of the animals seemed to want to take a nap and not really dance around too much. You got to pet some of the sting rays.... they are sooo cute! and soft... They feel like dolphins, if you have ever felt a dolphinOnce we were done playing with sting rays and looking at sharks we checked into our room at the Mandalay bay. We loved our room! it was amazing! We were pretty high up, we were on floor 28. We then went to the tournament of kings for dinner! That was an amazing show! So interactive! You cheered for your knight and they rode horses around... It was just so cool! I would do it again in a heart beat! They fun part is you ate the dinner with your hands.

The next bright and balmy morning we went to body's. That was an amazing thing to see. I found it funny how they showed you smokers lungs next to healthy lungs. Right next to it was a bin for your cigarettes and it was quite full. Its amazing how they had the body's displayed. After body's we hopped on the monorail and went down to the wax museum. Its always a blast to go in there! For some reason it was quite busy at noon on a Monday... either way it was rather fun! This is the loot we took away from the whole experience. Ryan won me a monkey and I won the lizard. The T-rex biter wand thing is Ryan's... I think he might bite Molly more than once with it...
After the events of the day we went home. We decided to go to target for some reason and I did my normal thing of leaving random figurines around the store in places where you would have to notice and know it was left there on purpose.
Updates... Patches decided he wanted to help make the bed... Well he didn't really help that much... Where's Patches?
Bellas getting so big! I have taken to giving her baths every once and a while... I'm not sure if she likes them or not... either way she's getting them!

And with that I will say good night! and good luck!

Happy birthday to me

So I'm sorry... I don't update this thing very often... I really need to do better with it.

Well we had a birthday... OK a couple of birthdays. On January 21st we had a Ryan birthday. He is now... gasp 24! For some reason he does not like his birthday at all. He has had a complex and for some reason he has been like this since he turned 22. Because we all know 25 is half way to 50 and that is just horrible! lol! I turned a whole whopping 22 on ground hogs day. I got the worlds best birthday present ever... I got a new baby bunny from my moms boyfriend. I named her Bella... Yes Bella. I think I'm going to do to her as to what I did for Kaytee(my first rabbit I had back when I was like in the 5th grade), if she turns out to be a boy she will probably always be Bella to me I don't know if I will ever be able to call her Edward.

For some reason Patches never has problems with new animals. The most he does is watch them carefully, he never bites or tries unless they try to play too roughly with him. Molly on the other hand... Theres reasons why there are no pictures of Molly with Bella. Molly isn't very nice. I probably wont let them play together until Bella is much bigger. Bella wont get bigger than Patches. I discovered that you can use a thing of yarn as a harness and she does very well on the front yard. Its too cold for her to stay outside for now so for the times being she is in a five gallon tub in the kitchen with her little house.

Work is ... going I guess. We have a new manager that started last week. He is very interesting, you can tell he is used to working at a store that does MUCH more business so he has made a very boring week for me with nothing to do. People have taken to playing around with me and my request for days off forms.

I have taken to going to my friends house on Wednesday nights once I get off of work. It is a time in my week that I very look forward to. I mean all we do is sit around and talk while her 14 month plays. We play board games too! Its just plain nice to sit and talk to someone I truly care about and just have a nice night while the husbands are out at school or work. Its one of those effortless friendships that tend to just flow in perfect harmony.I know its a time in my life where I will always look back on and smile. Plus sometimes you just need girl time.

I had a girl day with the girls that we used to be in the same ward together growing up. I still think I surprise them with some of the things I say. I must admit I'm not shy around people and I say whatever is on my mind, I don't mind if it makes you blush. I love being around these people because they have stuck through with me through thick and thin and my crazy "I'm loosing my mind" self that tends to happen every once in a while with me.

Question

How do you make yourself be nice to some you have ... loathed since you were 15 (at the very latest age it was probably like 13 to 14) I don't want to say hate because I don't want her to spontaneously combust but if I had the opportunity to I would probably hit her with my car. Lets just say she was the worlds worst young woman's leader... period. She offended me to the core and it doesn't help that she has the perfect personality that its like nails on a chalk board for me. Cant stand her. Well this horrid woman keeps apologizing to me, at this point I believe I'm at three with in a few years span of time. I don't even like looking at her... when ever she is teaching relief society I pretend I am anywhere else. I believe pulling teeth is a good past time to think about just to pretend I'm not there.

So how do I pretend like I can tolerate that person so she doesn't feel like I'm trying to murder her with my eyes. It doesn't help much I feel five years old the whole time. I've tried thinking that she's a child of god and all of that nonsense how do I pretend that I don't want her to have some horrible thing happen to her?

Happy Birthday to Abby

Well tomorrows Abby's birthday so tonight we went over to Ken and Alicia's house to help celebrate with dinner (which was really good by the way). It was nice to see Uncle Rick. I wish I lived in the same city as him (as long as it isn't Reno because we all know how much I do not like Reno... at all) Well Abby is the cutest thing ever. She would try to blow out her candles but couldn't quite do it. When Alicia helped her out she got so scared of the smoke. When Ken wanted to have them relite for a picture she freaked out and started to cry... I love going over there...

I got bored again and made my friend another movie for her 21st birthday. Call it bored. You don't have to watch it I'm putting it in here so I can find it more easily later.

I think I'm sick of Obama mania already. I mean seriously I was sick of him two years ago. I think I'm going to be stuck hearing about him for a while but its like its going to be like they are going to make a national month just for this guy. Done already... So done!

I have an obsession lately. I keep looking up people I went to school like forever ago and wanting to see what people are up to. I get angry when I can find them easily. There is a family in my ward that I've been looking for for months and cant find them anywhere...

My dad came over to my house today and anded me an envelope. It has a whole bunch of family history in it. Its really interesting. It goes back to like the 1400's. Its a huge thing... But I have no idea how to like do anything with it. I know I'm supposed to do family history and I really need to do it but I have no idea how to do it... I did notice a scandal on it though when looking through some of the dates. Some of them had a baby out of wedlock then got married a year later... Just something interesting... saying it happened in 1600's Massachusetts

Captain obvious

Well I am going to have a captain obvious moment for the time being. My family is being very blessed. (no this isn't me making an announcement so please get that thought out of your head)

There are five baby's that have either just arrived in this world or on the way in my family. Katrina, and Kara just had their children with in the last two weeks. There are also three more on the way unless people are not coming out that I don't know about. So with in the next six months (I'm guessing on the time line for these ones) We have Meagan, Alicia, and Kelli that are pregnant. I just feel blessed that our family is growing so strong! Who would have thought over fifty almost sixty years ago when my grandparents got married our family would be as large as it is. I'm not ever sure how large the family is right now, it has to be AT least fifty strong.

I guess this is a good time to say this and to make people STOP looking at me and asking me questions. Ryan and I made the logical choice to WAIT until September of 2010 to start trying for a baby. This is the most logical choice for us. This way he will be done with school having a great job and I can quit my job and we can not have to worry about the money part of it. So I'm asking nicely please stopping giving us those looks.

I'm discovering I'm getting very bored lately. I get so bored I even stop reading because well I have gotten to the point of boredom before hand that I cant sit still enough to read because I just WANT to do something. I'm going to remake a movie for my friend today because HHAAEEYY I'm bored... I kind of want to make a blanket because I'm bored... I got bored in church yesterday (relief society had a very not good teacher) so I had yarn from an object lesson and I was trying to crochet in class with a yarn needle. It worked I made a nice little square but that shows my on going boredom.

My newest love is cheesy corn. One can of corn covered and layer in cheese. It makes me very very happy. Its quick, its easy, and it combines my two loves :cheese and corn.

I guess we will see how the rest of this year will go. Hopefully it will be calm and quick!

Apply New Deers!

So how did Ryan and I spend New years? I think we are going to do this every year for now on.. We did not stay up. We did absolutely nothing. I think we were in bed by eleven and I loved it! Why should we do anything stupid with the rest of Las Vegas? Well that is life at the moment. We loved Ely for Christmas. It gets freakin cold there!!! It was -14 there one night!!! I am just completely looking forward to moving there. All we have to do is making it through this year... Only a year and a half left and we can get out of this place already!!!
