Merry Christmas from Ely

Well I have to admit I had a first this Christmas. Ryan and I got stuck in a blizzard on a mountain pass. It was very interesting... I have never actually seen a blizzard before. We must love my desert rat self... Here are some pictures once we got back to the house and it was still snowing...

Another snow day!!!! It snowed again today!!!

Well..

So here is how my lovely has been doing. For a week now Ryan has been sick. Congestion and just lots of mucus (gallons of it) Well come Wednesday Ryan decided it was necessary to pass it along to me... So for this week I have been cough cough cough... its annoying

Ryan and I have officially gotten a calling and thank god it wasn't nursery or primary!!! I think someone knew I would probably hate them for the rest of their lives and children would be in danger of me kicking them. Well we got called to teach the 12-13 year old class. I can handle that at least, I mean I was some of their volleyball coach. They are a bunch of squirrels. I think I might need to bring duck tape because they are quite um talkative...

In other news we are one person away from being completely done with Christmas shopping...

In other other news I have BIG NEWS!!!! IT SNOWED IN VEGAS TODAY!!!! I even go into a snow ball fight with Jenni and Kha! Oh it was fun!

Molly decided that she didn't want to go into the back yard...For some reason she demanded to go on a walk... don't ask me why. About half way through she decided she was cold and wouldn't walk anymore...Snowball with an ornament from the outside tree... The heater on the house has officially been turned on... now the house is 68 degrees. If it were any warmer I would probably be annoyed. It has been a nice 60 degrees in the house every morning.

I need a book to listen to on the way up to Ely... suggestions?

So I'm happy people are goobers. I like driving home and seeing houses decked out in lights. I think I surprised some people at work because I was singing along with the Christmas songs. It's December 1st its allowed!!!

I'm glad I got off work early because now I can try to wind down and hope I will fall asleep before one... But my sciatic nerve is killing me so I doubt I will be falling asleep anytime soon...
